Designed to provide practical and realistic solutions to challenges posed by sight loss, we provide a wide range of services to help individuals promote and maintain their independence.

Delivered by professional staff, trained volunteers and available to anyone living in Suffolk, our services are generally free.

All who access our services are invited to accept free membership of Suffolk Sight. Whilst there are no obligations, we rely in large part on donations from members of the public to maintain the level of service provided.

Services for members include:

  • A dedicated community sight loss advisor
  • Befriending
  • Computer and technology support
  • Low vision assessments
  • Advice on and access to aids and equipment
  • Newsletters
  • Social clubs and support groups
  • Help with benefits, concessions and grants

If you would like to access any of our services, please contact the office using the details at the bottom of the page.
